Pre-Development Academy Summer Camp - Summer of 2020

The PDA Camp is for the elite level player, looking for an elite soccer learning experience; and is open to all players from all clubs.

This camp will mirror the curriculum and Style of Play of Empire United's Full-Time Development Academy teams. The Development Academy is "US Soccer's league" and was designed by the US Soccer Federation to be the standard of elite player development in the US. Like with our full-time Developmental Academy teams, the aim is to provide the highest standard of training in WNY (this is why the same coaches who work with the full-time teams will be running the camp). By focusing on technique as well as organized attack, defense, and transition moments, our coaching philosophy is to develop the individual player as well as introduce the camp to our club’s Style of Play and identity exercises.

The camp staff has over 40 years of college camp experience combined; in addition to coaching at the youth level for over 10 years each, in both club and camp capacities.  This also includes experience coaching within professional soccer at the MLS youth Academy level.  The camp will be set up for players to enjoy traditional camp games, while also being pushed mentally and physically within our Style of Play and concepts.  Each day will also consist of a playing portion, where players play small-sided or full-sided matches in our systems of play, to work on the concepts taught within the camp.
